Open Works was named Maryland’s largest accelerator by the Baltimore Business Journal in 2018, and is home to over 55 small businesses, startups, and nonprofits. We also support dozens of working artists building projects for Artscape, Light City, or private commission. Want to join the Open Works Community? Here’s how:

For Tier 2 and Tier 3 Memberships, please follow these three easy steps.

Sign up for Orientation

Attend our 1-hour tour of Open Works. Get to know the staff, explore our facilities, feel the vibe and find out which membership plan is right for you!

step 2

Attend In-Person Orientation

After you sign up for orientation, you will receive an email confirmation for the date and time you selected. You must attend this orientation in person in order to go to the next step.

step 3

Choose Your Plan

We have membership plans to fit your business size, needs and budget. Find the plan that is right for you. Signing up for your membership plan must be done and paid for in person.

Free Access Membership

Open Works offers a lot for free — sign up for our newsletter and be the first to know about exclusive promotional offers, events, community happenings, and grant-funded program opportunities. Our spacious, well-lit lobby is always open and always free, with Greenmount Coffee Lab, board games, free wi-fi, our maker library shelf, and comfy reading chairs. Come grab a coffee and set up with your laptop for the afternoon.

Our youth memberships are available for graduates of our Teen Maker Shop that have passed relevant safety certifications.
